Furnished monthly rentals in Medellín for remote workers
Working from a kitchen stool for three months? Never again. We rank homes by what matters when you live and work in one place: a real desk, AC, blackout blinds, quiet windows and solid internet.
The work-and-sleep checklist
- A real desk and an office chair, not the dining table.
- Air conditioning, especially in the bedroom.
- Blackout blinds, so you sleep through Medellín’s early sunrise.
- Soundproof windows, or a bedroom away from the street.
- Internet: ask the landlord for a recent speed test and whether the connection is fibre, and keep mobile data as a backup.
How our ranking helps
On Medellín Monthly nobody pays to appear first. Homes rank higher for a 360° tour, an in-person verification visit, a home office, AC, soundproof windows and blackout blinds, so the work-ready homes rise to the top.
Verified homes have been visited by our team, so the desk in the photos is the desk you get.
Where remote workers look
Laureles–Estadio for flat, walkable streets; El Poblado for cafés and coworkings; Ciudad del Río for a modern building by the metro; Belén for a local feel on a smaller budget.
Paying from abroad
No Colombian bank account? No problem. Landlords accept cards through their own Mercado Pago account, and the card fee is shown before you pay. You pay the landlord directly: a 10% booking payment, then the rest on move-in day.
